Lahore May 20, 2010: (FCC) Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) Mass Communication department organize its annually 3rd Vasakh Film Festival in the auditorium of Peter Armacost Building of S block. The festival showcases award-winning South Asian documentaries on human rights and justice along with student this year. In his opening speech, FCCU Rector Peter H Armacost said events like the Vasakh Documentary Festival help promote talent and engage students in healthy dialogue.
Following the screproductions to promote talent. Student productions from eight universities are being screed at the three-day festival ening of documentaries in two sessions, the house was opened for discussions with panelists, including Dr.Meenu Gur, an independent filmmaker and Muhammad Zahid Chaudhry, former FCCU professor. The panelists threw light on the theme of the films and the technical aspects of documentary making. FCCU Dean of Humanities Dr Waseem Anwar and Professor Saleem Abbas also spoke on the occasion.

Lahore May 20, 2010: FCC computer department held a computer activity with the name Circuit Mania in N-117 room in Ahmed Saeed Building. The circuit mania day was organize by the Female faculty member of IT department Miss Sira Anwar. The purpose of organizing this kind of activity is to bring those students who are interesting in computer or who have some knowledge about how to play games on computer so that they can show their talent as well as enhance their experience by playing against those who are majoring in Computer Science.
According to the source the Circuit Mania started at 9am and ended at 3pm. During this time students from different fields of life came and took part in the activity.
In the end prizes were distribute among the winners and refreshment was served.
